The Broward County Medical Association (BCMA) has a long history dating back to 1926 with a defined mission to promote and preserve the highest standards of medical care and foster the ethical principles of the medical profession. To further the mission and build on the loyal support of BCMA members, the Board of Directors approved THE 1926 SOCIETY in 2017, a special recognition opportunity to formally honor those who contribute to the BCMA and demonstrate long-term commitment to our community.

The 1926 Society is recognized on the BCMA Website, and names are engraved on a plaque displayed in the BCMA Office, as well as recognition being given at the BCMA Annual Meeting.
