The Broward County Medical Association is proud to support its mission through two dedicated foundations that extend our commitment to physicians, patients, and the community.

The Broward County Medical Association Foundation, established in 1991, serves as the philanthropic arm of the BCMA, fostering programs and initiatives that improve the health and well-being of Broward County residents.

The Cynthia Peterson Legacy Fund, established in 2024, honors the lasting impact of Cynthia Peterson’s service and vision. This fund supports initiatives that strengthen the physician community and advance healthcare for future generations. Scholarship applications for MD and DO students are open until December 31st. 

Together, these foundations embody the BCMA’s values of advocacy, service, and legacy, ensuring a healthier Broward today and for years to come.
